As Lifestyle Director, you are responsible for developing and implementing lifestyle enriching programs designed to contribute to whole person wellness through social and community involvement, participatory and spectator events, creative and educational coursework, lecture series, travel clubs, book reviews, fitness classes, etc. You will oversee the Lifestyle and Transportation staff, which includes hiring, training and development, counseling, and performance evaluation. The qualified candidate will be highly organized and possess excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and platform speaking. Minimum 10 years experience in program development including assessing, designing, and implementing vocational, emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual programs for an active senior population. Prior supervisory responsibility required. Experience in the senior living industry preferred. College degree in leisure studies, recreational therapy, gerontology, wellness, or related field required.
