About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as a strategic and visionary leader in the role of senior technology executive. The CIO will be responsible for guiding enterprise-wide IT strategy and operations, overseeing the Office of Information Technology and the University Information Security Office, and providing support and guidance to distributed Information Technology units. A key focus for the CIO will be leading the company's ERP transition, driving IT modernization efforts, and advancing data capabilities. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record in enterprise IT strategy, digital transformation, and data governance, and will be expected to foster innovation and ensure that technology investments align with institutional priorities. The ideal candidate for the CIO position at the company will have at least 10 years' experience in a large, complex organization, with a preference for those with a background in higher education. They should have experience in managing large-scale operations, leading high-performing teams, and be adept at change management and fostering institutional alignment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a master's degree being preferred. The role demands a collaborative leadership style, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to ensure that technology is responsive to emerging needs, including the opportunities presented by transformative technologies. Experience in building and institutionalizing effective PMO and Quality functions is highly desirable.
