Description:We have an opening for a Web Designer with experience in creating high-quality, professional web sites and templates.
Development and manipulation of original art and stock photography experience required.Opportunity to grow with a small company with an exciting future.This is a full-time position, working at our downtown location in the Atlas Life Building. Parking is provided.You will be responsible for designing web sites and web site templates for customer and in-house projects. This position does not require ColdFusion or SQL programming experience, but you must be comfortable integrating your design and HTML with programmatic coding.Requirements:At least 4 years web site development experience.
You MUST be able to read, develop, and comprehend raw HTML and CSS code. Must have experience with HTML5, CSS, Responsive Web Design and practices, latest UI/UX practices, and working knowledge of Javascript and JQuery. PHP knowledge and experience a plus. A brief competency test may be administered.Flash and HTML5 animation experience a plus. Other software preferences include full knowledge of basic Adobe Creative Suite programs, Sublime Text 2, Coda or other relevant web design applications.Strong working knowledge and at least 4 years of experience of CMS processes and work with editors such as Wordpress.Additional preference given to applicants with TCP/IP knowledge and current Microsoft or CompTia certification holders. Dependable and punctual. Excellent time management and prioritization skills required. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work with a variety of clients on a daily basis.Excellent communication skills required. You must be able to comfortably and effectively explain and collaborate with customers and co-workers.Maintain professional appearance and conduct.Reports to:Supervisor
