Radiology Technologist Job Details – York, PA

• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Radiology Technologist Contract)
  
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
  
• End Date: January 5, 2026
  
• Duration: 13 weeks
  
• Hours: 40 hours/week
  
• Shift: Day shifts; 4x10-hour (6:00am – 4:00pm) or 5x8-hour shifts (6:00am – 7:00pm)
  
• Weekend & Holiday Coverage: As needed
  
• Call: Required, 30-minute response time
  
• Floating: As needed within the hospital
  
• COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions available)
  
• Facility: Tobacco and fragrance free
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,390–$2,560
  

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab
  
• Valid ARRT (R), CCI RCIS, or CCI RCECS certification required
  
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
  
• EPIC charting experience required
  
• Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias
  
• Experience with cardiac ablation, mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker/AICD insertion/programming, and tilt table studies
  
• Ability to stay until last patient is cared for each shift
  
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off during contract
  

Key Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath/EP Lab Technologist

• Assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath and EP Lab
  
• Perform and support complex coronary interventions, ablations, device implants, and advanced cardiac treatments
  
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and provide expert clinical support during procedures
  
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and isolation precautions
  
• Float to other hospital units as needed and respond to on-call requirements
  
• Deliver compassionate care to adult and geriatric patient populations
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
