Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
  
• Employment Type: Local contract
  
• Contract Length: 6 weeks (potential for extension)
  
• Hours per Week: 36
  
• Schedule: Every Thursday & Friday (4:30 PM – 4:30 AM), every other Saturday/Sunday (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
  
• Specialties: CT, MRI, Vascular, Dexa, Diagnostic imaging
  
• Scrubs: Black
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2080 - $2230
  

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a staff Radiologic Technologist (2 years preferred)
  
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with training in Computerized Tomography (CT)
  
• Active New Jersey DEP license required
  
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  
• CT certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  
• CPR certification
  
• BLS (AHA) certification
  
• IV certification required within 90 days of hire
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred
  

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality computerized tomography (CT) images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by licensed physicians
  
• Follow established radiology practices and procedures to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging
  
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide optimal clinical support and patient care
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  
• Participate in orientation and required healthcare training modules
  
• Comply with all departmental and hospital policies, including attendance and completion of orientation requirements
