• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)\n
• Assignment Length: 13-16 weeks\n
• Start Date: January 5, 2026\n
• End Date: April 27, 2026\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); day/night rotating schedule available\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Setting: Acute Care Oncology Float Pool – Med/Surg Tele\n
• Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1940 - $1990\n
• Self-scheduling: Enter your preferred schedule requests\n
• Orientation: First week Mon-Fri dayshift; five shifts of bedside orientation between weeks 2 and 3\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or higher level nursing experience required\n
• Oncology nursing experience preferred\n
• EPIC charting experience required\n
• Travel nurse experience required\n
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required)\n
• ACLS and BLS certifications required\n
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n
• Two professional references required (one from a manager/director or formal leader)\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required\n

\n\nRN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 318-bed comprehensive cancer center\n
• Float to Med/Surg Oncology units such as Bone Marrow Transplant, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, and Corrections Healthcare\n
• Implement infection prevention and patient fall prevention protocols\n
• Operate GE telemetry monitoring systems, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, and other specialized clinical equipment\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more\n
• Participate in self-scheduling and adapt to weekend and holiday coverage as needed\n
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records system\n
