Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tiling Professional with a passion for teaching to join our team as a Tiling Instructor. In this role, you will use your expertise to train and mentor new tradesmen in the art of tile installation, sharing your knowledge and skills to help shape the next generation of tile professionals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering various aspects of tile installation, including materials, tools, techniques, and safety.
Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations to students in both classroom and workshop settings.
Evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance to improve their skills.
Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, following safety protocols and proper handling of tools and materials.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to improve curriculum and teaching strategies.
Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in tile installation.
Mentor students in career development and job readiness.
Participate in professional development opportunities and maintain any necessary certifications or licenses.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in tile installation.
Strong knowledge of tile installation techniques, tools, materials, and safety practices.
Experience teaching or mentoring others in tile installation or a related field.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current in the field.
