Senior Licensing Engineer – Environmental Focus / Licensing / Licensing Manager / Nuclear Fission / SMR / Small Modular Reactors / Advanced Reactors / Nuclear New Build
📍 Location: Washington, D.C. (or commutable) – NJ within 1.5 hrs, Philly considered
💰 Salary: $145K-$165K (Senior: 4-8 yrs) | $165K-$185K (Staff: 8-12 yrs)
We’re expanding our client's team with TWO new hires for a high-impact role in nuclear licensing and environmental review. If you’ve worked in both nuclear & natural gas plants and have experience with Part 50 licensing, PSAR, and Environmental Reports (ER)—we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Industry + NRC experience: Ideal candidates have worked in the industry first (TVA, Dominion, Constellation, utilities) then transitioned to NRC—or vice versa.
✅ Licensing Expertise: Strong background in writing Environmental Reports (ER), NRC licensing (Part 50), and regulatory interfaces.
✅ Detail-Oriented Writers: This role is for those who can write concisely —our hiring manager (CJ) values clear, direct communication. No rambling.
✅ Local Candidates Preferred: DC-based, or commutable (NJ, Philly, regional focus to start).
