QA with Guidewire Locations: New York (Hybrid) Required Qualifications: •BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
•Test Manager with 9 to 13 years of experience to join our team.
•Strong P and C insurance recent experience
•Good in JIRA and TFS
•Must have experience in Web App Test Metrics and Reporting SNOW Testing Tools and Frameworks Manual E2E BPA Rally HP ALM Jira and Basic Programming
•Must have domain experience in Cancellations Auto-New Business Auto-Renewals Auto-Finance and Accounting and Auto-Policy Admin
•Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model
•Should be thorough and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
•At least 4 years documents validation experience in any application preferable in Guidewire
•Strong testing and process knowledge
•Specialized in Guidewire Claim Center testing and was individually handling Claim Center in the team
•How to create a new Claim FNOL types of claims Property and vehicle Exposure how to add reserve do payments Third party claims
•Requirement Analysis Test Design Execution Defect Management Reporting Team Management Requirement Analysis

•Must have Testing experience in Guidewire application.
•Understand detailed requirements timelines and project health WITH THE OBJECTIVE of driving testing effectiveness WITHIN the client and project specifications Test Requirement Analysis
•Perform KT on user stories
•Design estimates time and effort based on the requirements analysis
•Prioritize the requirements
Roles/Responsibilities: •Lead the testing efforts for web applications ensuring high-quality deliverables
•Oversee the creation and execution of test plans and test cases
•Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to partners
•Utilize SNOW for managing test incidents and tracking progress
•Implement and manage various testing tools and frameworks
•Conduct manual end-to-end business process automation testing
•Use Rally for agile project management and tracking
•Manage test cases and defects using HP ALM and Jira
•Apply basic programming skills to enhance test automation
•Ensure thorough testing of cancellations auto-new business and auto-renewals processes
•Validate auto-finance and accounting functionalities through rigorous testing
•Test auto-policy administration systems for accuracy and reliability
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
•Stay informed about current industry standards and testing methodologies
•Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers
•Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and practices
•Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
•Communicate effectively with collaborators to provide updates and insights
•Deliver high-quality software products that meet business needs and enhance customer satisfaction
Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 - $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
