The Opportunity Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Previous ED experience required. Current CA state license is a plus. The Practice – A Dual-Hospital System St. John’s Regional Medical Center – Oxnard, California 265-bed hospital with a 23-bed acute rehabilitation center. TCASC/Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. 31-bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of 58,000. Cerner Firstnet EMR with Dragon dictation with Sayvant support. A designated STEMI receiving center providing prompt, leading edge treatment to heart attack patients within 90 minutes or less. St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital – Camarillo, California Community hospital 15-bed Emergency Department plus 3 fast track. STEMI Referral and Stroke Center. Annual volume of 25,000 with a 15% admit rate. CERNER Firstnet EMR with Dragon dictation. The only facility with a hyperbaric medicine unit in West Ventura County. Other specialty services include diagnostic imaging, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), radiology oncology, rehabilitation and therapy, maternity and birthing, a spine center, palliative and end-of-life care, and cardiac services.
