*Job Title:* Physical Therapist – 13 Week Contract
*Location:* Marshall, MN and Tyler, MN

Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. * Tyler only
* Marshall only
* Split between Marshall and Tyler
*Overview:*
* *Setting*: OP, LTC/SNF, IP, and HH
* *Total Pay Package: *$2,000 - $2,600
* *Guarantee:* 40-hour weekly guarantee
* *Schedule:* Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm– No weekends, holidays or call
* *Start Date:* ASAP
* *Length*: 13 weeks
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations
* Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons
* Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
* Develop an individualized treatment plan
* Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
* Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
* Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly
* Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
*Qualifications:*
* Doctorate or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
* Valid driver’s license
* Must be able to pass a background check and pre-work screen physical examination
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
