OVERVIEW :

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world's largest distributors of Health care systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products , seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Assistant .

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• This will be an onsite role.
• Work Location: 5101 Jeff Commerce Drive Louisville, KY 40219
• Work Schedule: (Sunday-Thursday) 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM/ 40 hours per week
• Duration: 3 months assignment with possible extension
• Once hired, employee will be required to obtain a Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Technician License at their own expense

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Employees will be working at individual pack stations, following on screen prompts.
• They will be packaging both cold chain and ambient prescriptions for direct to patient shipment. Employees will be held to both productivity and quality standards.
• Excellent history of attendance is mandatory for this position.
• Basic requirements are ability to stay standing for entirety of shift as well as ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma is required.
• Once hired, employee will be required to obtain a Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Technician License at their own expense
• Pharmacy certification (state or national license requirement).
• Must have 2-3 years of pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant experience.
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping.
• Additional Skills- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Packing patient paperwork and prescriptions.
• Sorting patient orders.
• Employee must be able to work all required overtime.
