Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Marketing Specialist to join our team, based either in New York, USA, or Toronto, ON, Canada. In this role, you will support Marketing & Events across the USA and Canada, working closely with the Global marketing team to drive local initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in marketing within management consulting or professional services environments, with a strong focus on events, digital marketing strategies, and execution. This includes campaign management, content creation, and analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels to achieve business objectives.
  • Digital Marketing Strategies: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including managing social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns aligned with business priorities and revenue goals.
  • Content Creation and Optimization: Design, edit, develop and optimize content for print, websites, social media, and other marketing materials. Collaborate closely with consulting teams to identify thought leadership opportunities and promote service offerings.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Event Management: Drive internal and external events and strategies, including webinars, roundtables, and participation in industry conferences.
  • Marketing Automation: Oversee CRM and marketing automation workflows to ensure effective lead nurturing and campaign tracking.
  • Collaboration: Partner with global marketing teams to localize global campaigns for North America, and work with external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keeping abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, including market research and competitor analysis.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of marketing and events experience, preferably within a management consulting or professional services firm, with a network of relevant vendors and agencies.
  • Proven success in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical, communication, content marketing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and practices in the USA and Canada is a must. Good to Have:
  • Experience in financial services and/or fintech industries.
  • Experience in business development and/ or sales enablement efforts.
