Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems.
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
  • Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed using hand tools or machinery.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
