Responsibilities: Identify risks that can occur during contract conclusion or business execution and establish alternatives to mitigate them. Resolve issues by maintaining close relationships with shipping companies and execution partners (such as rail, trucking, drayage companies, port terminals) and secure favorable transportation resources and fares compared to competitors. This includes monitoring delivery progress from ocean shipping vessels to final destinations. Create simple tools to monitor regular shipments and report statuses to upper management, customers, and headquarters. Analyze data to identify issues related to seamless movement and share findings with relevant parties for resolution. Analyze and report monthly on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for drayage deliveries. Establish delivery status reports and share them with customers. Develop plans for regional/based innovation tasks, monitor logistics costs, and identify cost reduction opportunities. Identify operational issues in regions/bases and establish solutions and inspection standards for various logistics types, including warehousing and inland transportation. Establish communication channels and hold regular meetings with carriers, SSL, customers, and internal departments. Perform ad-hoc reporting as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Salary: $27 - $32 / hour Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred or GED. Experience in route setup, finding optimal routes using various transport modes, including multimodal transport. Experience in developing transport plans that optimize loading rates, transportation time, and logistics costs. Experience in establishing and managing logistics processes for different types, such as warehouse operations and local transportation, including operating guidelines. A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team setting. Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including skills in VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to shift focus to urgent issues without neglecting other duties.
