Our Cape Canaveral, FL location, is a full sales and service inflatable boat center. Our staff is ready to help you find the right craft for your recreational needs. We also service and sell top-of-the-line Recreational and Commercial Life Rafts.

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Life Raft Technician located in Cape Canaveral, FL. The Life Raft Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining life rafts and other safety equipment, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Unloading, opening, inspecting and repacking life raft with equipment. Recording data on quality control sheet. Performing proper tests. Clean container, remove and reapply stickers.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, be a self-starter and consistently communicate in a team environment. Must be organized. Meticulous attention to detail. Heavy - Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining life rafts and safety equipment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Technical skills for handling safety equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in marine safety or related field is a plus
  • Certifications in safety and marine equipment maintenance
