We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for commercial construction projects. The Journeyman Electrician must have commercial experience.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement appropriate solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations.
- Scissors Lift operation
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as an electrician in commercial settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and work well with a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and light industrial settings
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in a variety of settings (commercial, light industrial)
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuitry, and logic controllers
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
