About the Role:

The Flatwork/DryFold position at the Spartanburg Plant, 0032, is a critical role focused on the efficient processing and handling of flatwork textiles and dry folding operations. The primary objective is to ensure that all linens, garments, and related materials are folded, sorted, and prepared according to quality standards and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail to maintain the integrity and presentation of the flatwork items while optimizing workflow to meet daily output targets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Ultimately, this position supports the overall production process by delivering consistently high-quality folded products ready for distribution or further processing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain folding machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or laundry production environment.
• Familiarity with industrial flatwork folding equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate flatwork folding machines and dry folding equipment efficiently and safely.
• Inspect flatwork items for quality, ensuring they meet company standards before folding.
• Sort and organize folded items according to type, size, and destination.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area to comply with safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
