About the Role
We are searching for a passionate and driven Executive Director to lead our fundraising efforts and chapter management. In this critical role, you will focus on securing individual and foundation gifts as well as orchestrating successful events that further our mission to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis while improving the quality of life for those affected.
Your responsibilities will include effective leadership, team management, and engaging volunteers to propel our Foundation's goals and revenue growth. Key functions will involve board and volunteer engagement, strategic fundraising initiatives, communications, and operational administration.
The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree and 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or executive leadership. A proven track record in individual major gifts, foundation contributions, special events, and corporate giving is essential. You should possess strong strategic thinking skills, experience in committee leadership, and expertise in volunteer development.
To succeed in this role, you must be an impactful communicator with experience within the health care service industry. Additionally, you will oversee the chapter's financial performance, budgeting, and operational planning and must excel in financial management to align with organizational guidelines.
