Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr We’re Hiring: Full-Time Manager – Structured Dog Daycare & Boarding (Allston, MA) The Mindful Mutt is a structured, enrichment-based dog care facility focused on creating a safe, stimulating, and professional experience for dogs—and the people who love them. We’re looking for a confident, kind, and capable Manager to lead our operations and help us grow. This person will work closely with the owner but will have the autonomy to run day-to-day operations, manage staff, ensure exceptional client service, and oversee business performance. What You\'ll Own: Team leadership: hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching a staff of 8–10 Client care: emails, voicemails, check-ins, and in-the-moment problem solving Business ops: payroll, inventory, systems, and process improvements Marketing: approve and support social media posts and events Facility: ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance Dog care: ensure safety and enrichment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments (this is a non-exhaustive list that may change with business needs) You Bring: At least 2 years of management or strong supervisory experience Emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and a team-focused mindset Comfort with dogs of all sizes and an eye for safe group play Great communication skills—both with customers and team members The ability to manage multiple responsibilities without micromanagement Must have a car and driver’s license Bonus Points For: Experience with social media, customer relations, or marketing Familiarity with Paw Partner or Google Workspace tools Pet CPR / First Aid certification Fear Free certification Dog training / pet care experience Benefits: PTO, Sick Leave, Bonus Potential, Certifications Provided, Bring your dog to work!
