Job Opportunity: Medical Coder (Contract with Potential for Hire)

Position: Medical Coder

Type: Contract (Potential for Contract to Hire)

Location: Baltimore, MD (100% onsite due to new federal mandate)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• (flexible start time as early as 6:00 AM after initial training period)

Pay: $23-$29 per hour, based on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately code for E&M, office procedures, preventive medicine services, and delivery surgeries and radiology services.
• Collaborate with facilities that utilize various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure accurate and timely coding.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
