Who we are looking for:

VML is seeking an Associate Creative Director for our Los Angeles office. You are a next-level conceptual thinker and visual storyteller. You will work closely with a diverse cross-discipline team to create engaging and memorable 360 campaigns across all channels. As an ACD you have a strong working knowledge of brand and product development, traditional, digital, social, production and an overall knowledge of creative processes. You are constantly curious and seek innovative ways to apply your knowledge, pushing against the norms of traditional messaging and marketing. You inspire others to exceed expectations and strive to continually evolve and grow the brand/product's look, feel and personality.

What you'll do:
  • Big idea thinking | Divergent thinking that leads to the creation of unique experiences across all existing and new channels that reach a particular audience.
  • Create | Generate highly effective creative concepts and provide exceptional art direction.
  • Collaborate | Partner with the ACD Copy for the timely development and execution of campaigns and projects, including the concepting and execution of final deliverables.
  • Client Facing | Regularly connects with the clients to create a partnership -- building trust in our thought leadership and ideas.

What you'll need:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a creative advertising agency.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative concepts, visual executions and creative campaign work on integrated campaigns that include broadcast, digital, social and everything in between.
  • Strong knowledge of art direction, production and creative development-from drafting briefs to executing deliverables.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume environment with rapid turnaround times and manage multiple tasks and project details.
  • Practiced time management skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Automotive experience a plus

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $75,000-$180,000 USD
