As a Wood Prep Finisher, you’ll sand, trim, glue, attach, and shape components destined for public libraries and educational spaces. This company produces library, education, and commercial furniture in Grand Rapids, sourcing wood locally and blending handcraft with modern processes.
You’ll trim and sand joints to prep pieces for finishing, attach parts using glue, dowels, screws, or clamps, measure for conformance, and run or set up shop machines and hand tools like sanders, routers, and edge banders. At times you’ll flex across departments to meet demand and follow shop orders or templates.
