Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wood Finisher [NOT A PAINTER]to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finishing wood products with attention to detail and quality. This role requires proficiency in various finishing techniques and the ability to work with different types of wood and finishes. The Wood Finisher will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and durability of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards before delivery.

Responsibilities   and Skills

• Apply stains, varnishes, and other finishes to wood surfaces to achieve desired appearance and protection.
• Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and repairing as needed.
• Knowledge of matching Stains to samples given is required
• Knowledge of clear and pigmented finishes
• Collaborate with team members.
• Prior experience is required
• Professional spray experience
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the finishing process and when handling materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Spray finishing traditional and electrostatic
• Repair and touch up of finishes
• Keeping a stain formula log.
• Experience in construction finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly tasks.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Wood finishing: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• English and if possible Spanish but Spanish is not a must (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Fort Myers, FL 33966: Relocate before starting work (Required)
