Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Welder, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting skilled craftsmanship and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Alexandria, AL

Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00/hour

Shift: 6am – 6pm, Monday through Saturday, with some Sundays as needed

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG welding on various materials using 0.35/0.45 wire
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately
• Use tape measures to ensure precise measurements
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely and efficiently
• Participate in weld tests, including fillet weld (T-Joint) testing at designated locations

What's Needed?

• Proven welding skills with 4 or more years of experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings confidently
• Experience with overhead crane operation is a plus
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards
• Reliable and committed to working overtime when required
