Warehouse Associate

Valdosta, GA | $15.00 / Hour

We are looking for a warehouse associate to join a team in Valdosta, GA. As a warehouse associate, you will be handling the packaging and distribution of canned goods for a well-known food bank. The company you would be working with is on a mission to combat hunger in South Georgia by utilizing a variety of methods and channels to feed those in need.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pulling orders and bringing orders out to agencies, helping with loading agency vehicles as needed
• Assist in checking out agencies when orders are ready
• Assisting the Warehouse Director in filling out daily logs
• Assist in loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks
• Stage orders that are outbound and maintain accurate inventory count of products being shipped
• Restock and organize case products in the warehouse and salvage in the salvage shopping area
• Assist in organizing and cleanliness of warehouse, freezer, and cooler
• Responsible for policing outside grounds on a weekly basis to assist lawn care provider

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to lift 40lbs+ throughout the shift
• Must be computer literate
• Great organization and communication skills
• Clean Criminal Background record
• Clean drug screen
• Valid Driver’s License
• Work in dry/cold warehouse

Location: Valdosta, GA

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
