Join our financial services client as a User Experience Researcher where your research and insights will directly influence the design of user-centric products and services. You’ll leverage your expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover deep user insights, helping shape experiences that align with real customer needs. Your work will play a critical role in driving innovation and improving the usability and impact of our solutions across the organization.

This is a full-time hybrid contract opportunity in Plano, TX until the end of 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct end-to-end research initiatives that uncover customer behaviors, preferences, and pain points to inform product enhancements and innovation strategies.
• Use a variety of research methodologies—both qualitative and quantitative—to interpret data and convert insights into clear, actionable design recommendations.
• Lead user surveys, interviews, and usability tests to capture meaningful feedback and refine product experiences based on data-driven findings.
• Mentor junior researchers and UX team members, encouraging a culture of learning and collaboration within the broader design organization.
• Stay informed on industry trends and evolving UX research practices to continuously elevate our research strategies and maintain competitive insights.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with generative and evaluative UX research, employing both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Proficiency in conducting research methods such as ethnographic studies, user interviews, surveys, and data analysis, with a focus on applying insights to influence design.
• Track record of applying advanced qualitative methods that led to meaningful improvements in product or service design.
• Strong collaboration experience with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and engineering, to drive user-centered product development.
• Ability to design and adapt research studies in agile and iterative environments, aligning with evolving business and design requirements.
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience in quantitative research methods is preferred.
