Trust Officer
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Reports to: Fiduciary Team Manager
Employment Type: Full-time, in office

Overview:
We are actively seeking a driven and professional Trust Officer to become a valuable member of our team. In this role, you will assume the crucial responsibility of delivering trust and administration services to our clients as well as collaborating with our referral partners. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, exceptional professionalism, strong interpersonal capabilities, and the ability to make well-informed decisions while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships and provide trust and estate administration services
  • Develop and implement trust and estate plans based on client needs and goals
  • Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, and other professionals to ensure effective estate planning
  • Oversee the investment and management of trust assets
  • Prepare and file tax returns related to trust and estate administration
  • Review and interpret legal documents related to trusts and estates
  • Provide guidance and support to beneficiaries and fiduciaries
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in trust and estate administration
  • Knowledge of trust and estate planning strategies and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
