This board member would be our Board Treasurer. Description: Understand and be experienced in financial accounting for nonprofit organizations Serve as financial officer of the organization Help develop a finance committee and serve as Chair of the finance committee Manage, with the finance committee, the boards review of and action related to organization finances Work with the chief executive to ensure that appropriate financial reports are made available to the board on a timely basis Assist the chief executive in preparing the annual budget and presenting the budget to the board for approval Ensure development and board review of financial policies and procedures board member must be local to Los Angeles metro Key Experience: Experience in Quickbooks, Budgeting, Projections, Finance, Reporting, 990 preparations.
