\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Location: Pratt, KS 67124 (Kansas travel nursing opportunity)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital Operating Room\n
• Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00), Monday–Friday\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Call: Every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week\n
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics\n
• Unit Details: 5 OR rooms, daily census of 12\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100-$2250\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Kansas RN license or compact state nursing license (required at submission)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (including Ortho/total joints, general, and OB procedures)\n
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)\n
• Experience with orthopedic, GYN, podiatry, general, endoscopy, and labor & delivery (C-sections) procedures\n
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems (any EMR accepted)\n
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this assignment\n

\n\nOperating Room RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Circulate in the operating room for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, OB, GYN, podiatry, and endoscopy\n
• Assist with special procedures such as C-sections, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and hip fracture repairs\n
• Demonstrate expertise in specimen handling, infection control, universal protocol, and wound management\n
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled (every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday)\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, and pharmacy\n
• Maintain patient safety and ensure compliance with all hospital policies and clinical procedures\n
