Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector located in Richmond, VA , is seeking an IT Technical Recruiter to join their team for a six month plus contract . This position follows a hybrid schedule , with mandatory on-site attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, along with additional in-person days as necessary .

As a an IT Technical Recruiter, you will be part of the HR department supporting the IT and cyber security teams. The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of full life cycle IT Recruiting experience, excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $45/hrW2

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each position.
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
• Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, and other platforms.
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
• Onboard new employees to ensure full integration into the team.

What's Needed?

• Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter, specifically for IT and cyber security roles.
• Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., phone, Teams, and structured).
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting.
