Our client is looking for a highly experienced Tax Manager to join their team in Central Kentucky. This role is ideal for a Certified Public Accountant with extensive expertise in tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and complex investment structures. The right candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess exceptional communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and complex investment portfolios.

• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate closely with financial advisors and attorneys to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

• Conduct annual income tax provisions and maintain detailed documentation for audits and reviews.

• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, leveraging a strong referral network or existing book of business.

• Provide expert guidance on estate tax planning and estate tax return preparation.

• Utilize advanced tax software tools, such as CCH ProSystem fx, to streamline tax processes and enhance service delivery.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advice to clients.

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by offering exceptional service and strategic financial insights.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required; additional certifications are highly preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and strategy for high-net-worth clients.
• Proven expertise in personal and estate tax preparation and planning.
• Strong proficiency in tax software, including CCH ProSystem fx.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with financial advisors and attorneys.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
• Experience with corporate tax returns and annual income tax provisions.
• A track record of successfully managing business development efforts or maintaining a referral network.
