Unique Surgical PA Position in Endocrine Surgery at the Jersey Shore Awaits!

Overview:

• Specialty: Surgical PA in Endocrine Surgery.
• Duration: Approx. 6.5 months to cover a PA on leave.
• Experience: Ideal for PAs with multi-specialty surgical backgrounds. However, open to those without a surgical history.
• Training: Comprehensive shadowing with experienced PAs.
• Credentialing: Necessary at Jersey Shore, Riverview, and Old Bridge.
• Location: Work across Old Bridge, Holmdel, Neptune, Toms River. Surgeries performed at three distinct hospitals.
• Hours: 8am-4:30pm. Mornings offsite; afternoons primarily in Neptune.
• Volume: Handle up to 40 patients on office days and up to 5 surgical cases on OR days.
• Role: Progress to a first assist in OR based on comfort.

Typical Weekly Schedule:

• Monday: Rotate between Old Bridge (8am-12pm) & Neptune.
• Tuesday: Surgery at Neptune.
• Wednesday: Office hours split between Holmdel (1st & 3rd weeks) and Toms River (2nd & 4th weeks) from 8am-12pm.
• Thursday: Surgery at Neptune.
• Friday: Neptune office hours from 8am-12pm.

All locations are strategically located within a swift 20-30 min drive from Neptune.
