What can I do as a NAII?
\n
\n - NA IIs work under the direction of an RN to provide safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status. Responsibilities include: \n
\n - Direct patient care delivery, including, but not limited to:
\n - ADLs/hygiene, Vital signs, I&O, Bladder scanning, EKG, Glucometer & other point of care testing (where applicable) and Restraints
\n - Communication and documentation of interventions and observations
\n - Participation in quality improvement process
\n - Involved in learning and self-improvement
\n - Initiates and maintains a positive relationship with patients/customers and coworkers - why UH

Qualifications
Education Requirements
\n
\n - Enrollment in a Diploma RN, Associate or bachelor’s degree of Nursing from an accredited program
\n - Successful completion of a Registered Nursing Fundamentals course required
\n - Most up-to-date transcripts should be uploaded with application - help limit f/u post-offer & clarify qualification when screening \n
\n - Note: Education verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Preferred Qualifications
\n
\n - Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
