Stainer/Sander/Finisher

A well-established company in Cleves, OH is looking for Stainer & Sander Finisher this is a temp to hire position.
1st Shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
$20-24, Based on Experience

We are seeking a skilled Woodworker/Finisher/Painter/Stainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for staining and finishing wood surfaces to enhance their appearance and durability. As a Wood Stainer, you will work on wood railing components. Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality finishes are essential for this role.

This position is responsible for hand staining wood components in preparation for final finishing. Attention to detail and a high commitment to quality work are essential. Must have a good eye for color, grain, and wood characteristics. This is a hands-on craftsman-level type job. Experience in cabinet finishing, furniture finishing, trim finishing, floor finishing, or similar would be very helpful.
Must have an excellent eye for detail.
Must be meticulous about quality and craftsmanship.
Must be able to work with various stains and thinners.
Must be able to use various woodworking tools to sand, shape, and drill wood.
Must be able to tolerate sanding dust from poplar and oak wood without issue.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 60 pounds without issue.
Must be able to work on your feet all day.
Must complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Must enjoy and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, to "hustle”.
Must have a positive "let's-get-it-done” attitude and a desire to continuously improve.
Must work well with others.
1-2 years of relevant wood finishing experience preferred.
1-2 years of relevant woodworking experience preferred.
