A leading life and annuity insurance firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated actuarial professional to lead asset modeling initiatives that directly impact financial and regulatory reporting. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about bridging actuarial insights with investment strategy.

As the steward of the firm's Moody's AXIS asset models, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of actuarial projections, including Asset Adequacy Testing, Model-Based Valuation, financial planning, and new business pricing. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure modeling excellence and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of asset models in Moody's AXIS for life and annuity products.
• Own the end-to-end process for asset model inputs, assumptions, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with investment, finance, accounting, and corporate development teams to align modeling with business strategy.
• Support regulatory and financial reporting through robust documentation and technical analysis.
• Research and implement modeling solutions for emerging investment strategies and reinsurance structures.

What They're Looking For:

• FSA or near-FSA designation with a strong actuarial foundation.
• 3+ years of experience in asset modeling, ALM, or actuarial model development.
• Proficiency in modeling software.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working in or with private equity-backed insurance firms is a plus.
