Job Purpose

EX3 – Sr. Financial Analyst

Honda Finance is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for our Treasury Capital Markets division. The purpose of this position is to assist AHFC’s Asset Backed Securitizes (ABS) Program, which currently issues $6-8 Billion of debt annually and is expected to grow to $9-$10 billion annually. The senior financial analyst will do research to prepare for the securitization of a new asset class (lease), prepare ad-hoc analytics on portfolio performance, assist in investor reports and SEC filings, assist in investor relations, and contributing to the successful issuance of ABS transactions

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to

• Assist in the ABS platform including other potential new asset classes to securitize, prepare ad hoc requests
• Assist in executing ABS transactions and rating agency discussions
• Analyze portfolio performance, trends for ABS and managed portfolio and ABS market trends
• Run and or review the monthly reporting of outstanding ABS transactions. Modify if necessary to meet new regulatory requirements
• Performing document review and responding to information requests from counsel and underwriter
• Assist in ABS investor relations
• Run ABS system and assist with upgrades or conversion to the system

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Who are we seeking:

• Bachelor’s in finance or related field
• 5+ yrs of finance industry experience
• 3+ yrs of capital market experience, abs preferred
• 2+ yrs experience working with SEC Regulations, Securitizations preferred
• 1+ yrs experience working with abs systems preferred (Lewtan or ABS Suite plus)
• 2+ yrs experience building reports in Business Objects preferred

Other Job Specific skills

• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Access
• Must be detailed-oriented and have strong analytical skills
• Must have good organizational and time management skills. Should have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Must have the ability to work with multiple levels of management, investors, auditors, legal counsel and investment bankers

EX3 Salary Grade - $81,800-$122,700

Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.

Working Conditions

• Workstyle: Hybrid (Remote, required to work 1 day in the Torrance office)
• Travel with overnight stays 5%
• During ABS debt truncations will need to work EST hours
• OT necessary when executing an ABS transaction
