Electronics Engineering Technician Location: Lockport, IL 60441 Schedule: Full Time; Onsite What You’ll Do : Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other tools to troubleshoot PCB assembly to component level. Final “box build”, testing and calibration of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment. Repair, test, & calibrate customer units which have been returned for service. Complete and maintain production documentation, including repair database and inventory management. Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and application assistance. Work in a team environment with engineering, sales, production, and purchasing personnel. Experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies. Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications. Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment. Ability to use hand tools; SMT soldering and de-soldering are a plus. Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures. Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills. Must be well organized and be able to multi-task. Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form. Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player What You'll Bring: ~ A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school. ~2+ years of experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and performing tests and calibration. Good eye-hand coordination. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
