Senior Accountant

Location: Oakland County
Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Collaborate with auditors during annual audits
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff

Qualifications

• CPA designation required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
