The Daily Wire is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Platform Specialist, Reddit. In this role, you’ll act as the go-to expert for your assigned platform—ensuring best-in-class publishing practices, strategic engagement, and data-driven performance optimization. You’ll play a vital role in driving audience growth, content innovation, and platform-specific excellence across the company. Primary Responsibilities Stay deeply engaged in the Reddit ecosystem, monitoring feature rollouts, subreddit trends, and competitor activity across relevant communities Maintain an internal wiki or platform update brief to keep cross-functional teams informed of Reddit-specific updates and insights Serve as the in-house expert on Reddit best practices, community guidelines, and platform etiquette Analyze post and thread-level performance metrics such as upvotes, comment volume, engagement rate, CTR, and community growth Develop weekly insights reports to guide content creation, community engagement strategies, and distribution approaches Present data-driven findings to the VP of Social and recommend A/B tests or content optimizations (e.g., post timing, title formatting, content tone) Lead performance strategy shifts in response to algorithm or community behavior changes—testing new formats like AMAs, image carousels, polls, or discussion threads Manage the full publishing process on Reddit—crafting attention-grabbing post titles, scheduling posts, tagging and categorizing content appropriately, and ensuring consistent brand tone Align Reddit strategies with broader content and campaign goals while adapting for the platform's unique audience and culture Establish governance and documentation for Reddit usage, including content moderation practices and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Act as the main point of contact for platform tools, vendor coordination, and internal Reddit-related inquiries Train internal teams on Reddit platform capabilities, engagement tools, and effective community management techniques Experience & Requirements 2–3 years of experience managing brand channels or equivalent on a major platform (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) or equivalent work experience.
