About the Job:
GLJ is looking for a reliable, skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team in Rapid City. In this role, you’ll be operating a skid steer to move materials, dig, grade, and perform other essential tasks on various construction sites. If you have experience with skid steers, can follow instructions, and are ready to work hard, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate skid steer equipment for various construction tasks, including grading, digging, lifting, and transporting materials
• Assist with site prep, clean-up, and other general construction labor tasks
• Maintain and inspect skid steer equipment to ensure proper operation and safety
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with the crew
• Ensure the safe operation of machinery at all times, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Perform other duties as needed by the team

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience operating a skid steer is required
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a skid steer in various site conditions
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the construction industry
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and physical
