What you'll do... Position: Senior Data Scientist
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Build and enhance Marketing and Media Mix Models (MMM) using advanced machine learning techniques such as Bayesian Models to quantify the impact of marketing tactics on business short-term and long-term outcomes using Python, SQL, and R. Enhance optimization and simulation scenarios to provide marketing investment and allocation recommendations to Marketing leadership. Use business and technical knowledge to inform the design and implementation of tests (e.g., test setup, validation of hypothesis, size and configuration of tests, test length, and test measurement). Explain complex modeling approaches in simple terms and develop compelling narratives that connect modeling results with business problems. Integrate disparate data sources and leverage state-of-the-art analytics best practices to deliver integrated actionable insights to partners and senior leadership around digital marketing optimization. Deliver business solutions to help partner growth and partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data science solutions.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and 1 year of experience in an analytics related field;
OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field.
Skills required: Experience developing algorithms in Python. Experience developing algorithms in SQL. Experience providing data-driven insights from large datasets. Experience creating dashboards using Tableau. Experience with Machine Learning models (ML). Experience with an optimization technique. Experience with reporting metrics. Experience applying data science techniques. Experience applying data/business analytics. Experience working with multiple databases. Experience solving complex business problems using data science techniques and mathematical optimization.
Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $142,243/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
