Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join us in
Chandler, AZ - Remote! The Senior Business Analyst will work with Business stakeholders to identify BI solutions to meet business needs primarily using SAP data. They are responsible for knowing how to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data and report discrepancies, including Audit support, as well as maintain data and report metadata: context, lineage, ownership, and semantic dictionary in support of increased user self-sufficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Understand global business user needs and deliver solutions using SAP BW4/HANA, PowerBI, and Business Objects Web Intelligence (Webi).
- Functional expertise in SAP data in the following domains: Finance, Manufacturing/Operations, Sales & Marketing.
- Evaluate user change requests and translate business to system requirements. Drive best practices and identify areas where SAP solutions can be leveraged.
- Perform integration, performance, unit, and integration tests as needed for system changes.
- Facilitation of user acceptance testing and creation of training content.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - 8+ years hands-on end-2-end in BI ABAP, ADSO, Composite Provider, Open DSO.
- 4+ years hands-on experience on HANA Native Modelling, ABAP CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Data Procedure).
- 4+ years' experience in Power BI: Semantic Models, DAX, Row Level Security (RLS).
- 4+ years' experience providing data solutions for high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
- Native HANA Modelling & Native SQL.
- BOBJ -Business Objects Web Intelligence, design studio.
- SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) -design, build and deploy SAC Dashboards.
- Multiple end to end implementations on BW, BW on HANA or BW4/HANA and SAP ABAP CDS Views and Business Objects.
- Power BI administration: workspace & permissions management, Row Level Security (RLS), App configuration.
- Modern Data Stack Engineering familiarity: Databricks, SparkSQL, Python.
Educational/Certification Requirement: - BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, Operations or similar.
- Certified SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and/or SAP Business Objects (BO) desired, but optional.
