As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol - Full Time in Summerville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the location. Your presence will help to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, staying alert to any unusual activity, and providing exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, behavior, or situations that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Support a security-related presence to help to deter potential risks or incidents relevant to a tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
