Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Cleared Driver in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry authorized equipment while conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing clear communication and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret 

$29.00 / Hour - TS

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White 

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility, including both interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or breaches within the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to evolving situations in a high-security environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must have Active Texas Level 3 Armed Security License in hand. 
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Must hold an active DoD Secret or higher Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
