As a Security Professional - Access Control in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will provide excellent customer service and clear communication while upholding company values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving responsibilities are part of the role.

Pay Rate: $23.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within logistics and distribution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to established procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certification as a Fire Safety Professional (FSP) is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements for driving positions.
• Possession of a County Unarmed Security Professional License in Denver is preferred.
• A Guard Card or Security License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
