Job Description

A full-time position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a small mountain community school district in Santa Clara, CA. This contract opportunity is set to begin as soon as possible, with the potential to extend for the entire school year. The role supports students across five school sites, serving grades TK through 12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and testing for students across TK-12 grade levels
  • Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators and families regarding student needs related to assessment findings
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for special education services
  • No responsibilities for counseling or behavioral intervention services
  • Position requires onsite presence across multiple district locations; travel between sites may be necessary

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) School Psychologist credential
  • Experience in administering assessments and developing IEPs for diverse K-12 populations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple site coordination
  • Ability to work full time, 35 hours per week, adhering to district schedule
  • Must be available to work onsite; remote or hybrid work options are not available
