A healthcare professional with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential is needed to provide skilled nursing care within a K-12 school setting. This role supports the health and well-being of students, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment throughout the school year.

Location:

• Olathe, KS

Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and medications according to established protocols.
• Monitor and assess student health conditions, documenting observations accurately.
• Provide care plans and health education to students as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to address student health concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and health-related incidents within the school.
• Maintain confidentiality of student health records in pliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN license.
• Experience or background in school nursing preferred.
• Strong munication skills and ability to interact effectively with students and school personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple health-related tasks.
• Knowledge of pediatric health issues and school healthcare protocols.
