Overview SAP Basis Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Remote (CST or EST time zones only) Type: Contract-to-Hire We\'re seeking an experienced and hands-on SAP Basis Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a large-scale transformation project. This role will lead a global SAP Basis team through a multi-phase on-prem to SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability across cloud and hybrid environments. This position is remote and requires candidates to work in CST or EST time zones. Occasional travel is expected on a quarterly basis for project milestones and team alignment. Responsibilities Lead and manage the SAP Basis team supporting a global S/4HANA transformation initiative Provide hands-on technical leadership in SAP Basis, including administration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning Support a mixed landscape including on-prem and cloud environments (SAP HANA, BTP) Oversee system landscape design, configuration, and maintenance across development, QA, and production environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and functional stakeholders, to ensure successful project execution Ensure system availability, reliability, and security compliance Provide leadership and mentorship to a globally distributed team, including team members in India and Mexico Participate in project planning, scheduling, and change management processes Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration with increasing technical responsibility Experience managing and leading SAP Basis teams, preferably across global time zones Hands-on expertise with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BTP Experience supporting both cloud and on-prem SAP environments Strong understanding of SAP architecture, system copies, upgrades, kernel patches, and troubleshooting Excellent communication and leadership skills Comfortable participating in technical discussions and rolling up sleeves when needed Ability to work in CST or EST time zones is required Must be eligible for contract-to-hire employment in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a contract-to-hire or transformation-focused environment Experience supporting international rollouts in North America (U.S., Mexico, Canada) Familiarity with integration across SAP modules and third-party applications Previous experience reporting to Director or VP-level technology leaders Travel Quarterly (project-based) #J-18808-Ljbffr TalentBridge
