About the Role

The Sales Proposal and Collateral Designer is responsible for creating high-impact sales materials tailored to the needs of Berkeley Executive Education’s sales efforts, with a key focus on Custom Solutions clients. This role involves developing persuasive, detail-oriented content designed to assist the sales team in effectively communicating the value of both Custom Solutions and Open Enrollment programs to prospective and existing clients. The Sales Collateral Manager will work closely with sales, program, and curriculum teams to ensure materials are strategically aligned, visually compelling, and effective in supporting revenue generation efforts. This position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing.

Location & Schedule:

This position is fully remote with typical working hours between 9:00 am–5:30 pm, PT. On-site all hands meetings are held twice per year at the Berkeley Haas School of Business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and management of sales-focused materials, including:
  • Customized program brochures and sales sheets detailing tailored solutions for specific client needs.
  • Case studies showcasing measurable outcomes and success stories from Custom Solutions programs.
  • Dynamic presentations designed for client pitches and proposal meetings.
  • Business development proposals for new business prospects and existing clients
  • Comparison charts highlighting Berkeley’s competitive advantages in executive education.
  • Program guides and enrollment toolkits to support Open Enrollment sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify client-specific needs and pain points and develop materials that directly address these areas.
  • Partner with faculty and program design teams to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of materials to client industries and goals.
  • Maintain and organize a centralized repository of sales collateral, ensuring it is easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Regularly update and revise materials to reflect new offerings, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of sales collateral through feedback from the sales team and client interactions, using insights to refine and improve materials.
  • Assist marketing team, marketing agency team, and other stakeholders with design projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales collateral creation, graphic design, copywriting, or a related role, preferably in executive education or a B2B environment.
  • Expertise with graphic design, image editing, and desktop publishing tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign .
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft business productivity tools like Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides.
  • Exceptional writing and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to create persuasive, client-focused content in deck, proposal, and web formats.
  • Proven experience working closely with sales teams and a deep understanding of the sales process.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to convey complex information clearly and compellingly.
  • Leadership and project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with product management software such as Asana, Basecamp, ActiveCollab, Wrike, or Jira.
  • Knowledge of the executive education landscape and experience tailoring messaging to corporate clients is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) a plus.

Salary & Benefits: Berkeley Executive Education offers competitive salaries, an annual discretionary bonus, and a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, vacation leave, sick leave, and 17 paid holidays. To give our employees flexibility, Berkeley Exec Ed is a hybrid work environment. The base salary range is $70,000 - 78,000 with a potential for an annual bonus
